Our SAIDO Learning Centers are located at the SAIDO Learning Institute at the Eliza Jennings Health Campus and at The Renaissance Retirement Campus. The Centers are an exciting transition from the traditional model of adult daycare which typically offers passive activities and assistance with activities of daily living, and supervision for older adults whose families bring them to the Center. The SAIDO Learning Centers provides SAIDO in an environment designed to support opportunities for prefrontal cortex activation and improved cognitive function. Families also receive education so that they may support these improvements at home.
The SAIDO Learning Centers house ongoing learning therapy five days a week. With full- and half-day program options, the Centers’ main focus utilizes cognitive-based activities and other activities geared towards reversing and reducing older adults symptoms of dementia.
The SAIDO Learning Center at the Eliza Jennings Health Campus operates a full-day program from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The SAIDO Learning Center at The Renaissance Retirement Campus operates a half-day program from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday thought Friday. Meals and snacks are included. SAIDO Learning has been determined to be the most effective when performed five times per week. For optimum results and sustained improvement, SAIDO Learning must be consistently practiced in order to reduce the recurrence of symptoms.
